STUDENT: Jisoo Lee
Hello, My name is Jisoo Lee. I am currently a senior at the School of Visual Arts, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture.
I am from Seoul, South Korea. I was born and grew up in a walkable city and community based environment, which is Seoul. Accessibility is important to me. New York is full of opportunities to access various surroundings and to approach curiosity.
Architectural Interior Designers can define a personal value. It is our responsibility to investigate how interior design can affect change in human behavior. Sustainability, contribution and engagement. Curiosity toward the design process will start from the history and possible social impact. Designers examine the cultural, social, and political/surrounding contexts that inform and shape design decisions. Renzo Piano, for example, designed the Centre Pompidou, which stimulates relatively rundown districts to urban regeneration by fostering sustainable practices and welcoming diverse audiences.
As an aspiring Architectural Interior Designer, I encourage a positive influence through space creation. Aspiration will focus on global context, improved proposals, and approachability.
